Welcome to the Polynomial Series Page

Polynomial series are the an "interesting" part of calculus that combines the basic series work that you may have done in geometry and algebra with the calculus you already know. Polynomial series can approximate functions, and being able to use a polynomial function to approximate some functions can make calculations easier. Excited? You should be.

Step 1: You must learn the basics of a Maclaurin and Taylor Series, and this powerpoint will help you with that.

Step 2: Now you must learn the open interval of convergence or ratio test.

Step 3: Learn the Convergence Tests!

Step 4: Error Analysis

Step 5: Fun Problems
